Luanda – Angola’s Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Manuel Nunes Júnior, this morning, Wednesday, May 8th, officially opened the 2019 Food Fair, an event held by the Ministry of Industry and Events Arena, which will run until May 11, at the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
In his opening speech, the minister assured that the Government continues to strive to enable entrepreneurs to enjoy better conditions to carry on their business and thus contribute to the diversification of the economy.
On the occasion, the Minister of Industry, Bernarda Martins, praised the efforts of all those involved in organizing the event.
More than 50 companies in the food, beverage, distribution and logistics industry are participating in the fair.
For this year, the Ministry of Industry has two more fairs, namely the Wood and Furniture Industry Fair (in June) and the Expo-Industry and Construction Fair (in November), all at the SEZ.
